| How I Live United“I care deeply about building strong and healthy communities. I’ve learned that the more we’re able to share ideas and develop partnerships the better off we are. My passion has centered on issues of equality, especially for people most often left behind in areas such as health care, housing, and education. Through the years, I have worked in social services, civil rights advocacy work, and as an independent consultant in education addressing racial isolation. Now, my efforts are to give voice to creative resources. art, history, and cultural organizations are creative assets that can level the playing field concerning issues of equality and yet be an effective tool to meet needs in our communities. Cultural programs and events are used to teach, entertain and inspire in schools, as part of health care services, in senior centers and much more. I am an advocate for equality everywhere we work, live and play. THAT’S HOW I LIVE UNITED.”
