How I Live United

“I’ve been involved in the community serving United Way, ROSCCO and other agencies for a long time, and I’ve seen how nonprofits can struggle to meet the demands of their work. So I do all I can to build awareness in the community. When you advocate for an agency, you advocate for the people receiving their services – and for the most vulnerable who often don’t have a voice.

I believe it’s important for kids to have positive male influences in their lives. As past president of my children’s school PTO, I started a Fathers & Significant Males club that had over 200 participants learning from each other. The ripple effect was profound – not only did the kids benefit, the community did as well because of the Village effect, and someday maybe their kids will benefit from their experience.
I respect and look out for my community, especially those who need the most help. That’s how I Live United.”
