THE STAMFORD COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT
United Way of Western Connecticut wants to know what services Stamford residents need to live well and what might already be working for them in the community.

To have the most effective long-term impact in Stamford, United Way invests in local programs making a measurable difference, and convenes the community to bring action to local issues. United Way of Western Connecticut focuses on the most pressing needs in our communities and provides the resources -- human, financial and technical -- to get to the heart of problems.
Making a Difference in Stamford
Through our Community Impact Fund, we distributed $1,460,000 in funding for 57 programs at 30 local agencies. We also provide $25,205 in funding for 2-1-1 and $15,000 for the Fairfield County Collaborative Fund for Affordable Housing for a total of $1,500,205.
