Invest in your community. Give to United Way. United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income, and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.
Ralph McIntosh | How I Live United“When it comes to making a difference in my community, I follow a simple rule: I try to give more than I receive. I was brought up on the premise that the best way to improve your own life and the lives of those around you, is to do whatever you can to help. I’m extremely fortunate that I have a business with employees who share my interests around giving back to the community. I also have a supportive family that often gets involved right along with me. I commit my time to things I believe in and to organizations that have a direct impact on the quality of life in our community. And I give to United Way because I know my donation will be distributed to the community in the most effective way possible. That’s how I live United.” Ralph has been a valued pastmember of the United Way Board and is currently on the Northern Fairfield Community Council. He has also been a supporter of Hanahoe Memorial Children’s Clinic. He is a member of the Danbury Hospital Cancer Golf Tournament Committee and is on the Danbury Hospital Development Fund Board. An avid runner, Ralph is a member of the race committee for the Greater Danbury Half Marathon & 5K Road Race to benefit the Red Cross.
