Improving lives and our communities
United Way in Northern Fairfield County works within the greater Danbury towns of Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, Newtown, Ridgefield and Redding.
To have the most effective long-term impact within these towns, United Way invests in local programs making a measurable difference, and convenes the community to bring action to local issues. United Way of Western Connecticut focuses on the most pressing needs in our communities and provides the resources -- human, financial and technical -- to get to the heart of problems.
Making a Difference in Northern Fairfield County
Through our Community Impact Fund, we distributed $2 million dollars to 80 programs run by over 40 local nonprofit health and human services agencies throughout the seven town area of greater Danbury.
