Grant Offered for Danbury Area Childhood Program
NEWS-TIMES -- Apr 27 2010 -- A grant of up to $10,000 is available to a local program that deals with childhood nutrition and other childhood health issues.
The United Way of Western Connecticut is seeking applicants for the two-year grant, which is designed to "reward innovative or new experimental" programming.
Eligible programs have to have been launched within the last year and serve members of communities in northern Fairfield County, Stamford and/or southern Litchfield County.
The deadline for applications is May 14.
