Pepsico Volunteers Spruce Up Nonprofits
NEWS-TIMES -- Jul 22 2010 -- Volunteers from Pepsi Beverage Company showed recently that they can supply more than soft drinks on a hot day.
Pepsi volunteers spread out to help with 17 community service projects in New York and Connecticut as part of the company's PBC Gives Back Days in June and July, the company said.
In Danbury, their assistance included painting at the Tarrywile Park Authority and laying a patio at United Way of Western Connecticut Family and Children's Aid, as well as projects for nonprofits in New Milford and New Fairfield.
In all, according to Pepsi Beverages Company, more than 400 employees lent their time and talent to good causes.
