NEWS-TIMES -- Dec 8 2009 -- United Way of Western Connecticut is recruiting volunteers to help individuals and families whose incomes are $49,000 or less complete their state and federal tax returns this season. No accounting experience is necessary to join the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance/Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program.
