United Way is committed to helping children, youth and their families achieve their potential. And we know that a quality education is the cornerstone to a better life.

So we support a range of programs and initiatives that ensure families have the skills and resources needed for their children to succeed in school and life. Whether it is providing for quality early childhood education, supporting parent engagement, ensuring graduation or developing future leaders in our youth, United Way promises to work on solutions that create lasting change.

In 2008, United Way of Western Connecticut is investing over $1,240,000 into programs and initiatives that help create successful kids and strong families.
