Her work at this local organization directly aligns with United Way of Western Connecticut’s mission to make quality education affordable and accessible. Tiffani actively helps her mentees find jobs. She’s been known to help them prepare for interviews, write resumes, and even online shop for work-appropriate attire.

Hometown Hero: Meet Tiffani Valentin

Alison Waller, a colleague, and previous Hometown Hero nominated Tiffani and recognizes her impact saying “Tiffani has been an amazing mentor to quite a few of our girls.  Outside of meeting with students [one on one] each week, Tiffani volunteers at our events.  She shows up no matter the day or time to inspire our girls.”

Congratulations, Tiffani! The positive impact you’ve created within your community is what makes you a Hometown Hero.
