Letter of Intent for Financial Stability Programs

United Way support Financial Stability programs to help ALICE prosper

United Way of Western Connecticut  is currently seeking Letters of Intent (LOIs) from agencies interested in applying for funding to serve the ALICE population(Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) to improve their financial stability/.

United Way defines Financial Stability as having stable, adequate income as well as stable, adequate financial resources including savings and assets to cover unexpected expenses.

We seek proposals for Financial Stability programs that will:

  1. Provide one-on-one budget coaching that focus on creating a household budget, working toward a financial goal, improving credit scores and increasing household savings, AND;
  2. Provide financial literacy workshops.

If you are interested in applying for funding, please submit your LOI online below  by January 17, 2020.
An invitation to apply for funds will be dependent on proposals presented through LOIs submitted online.
If your agency is selected to apply for funding, you will be contacted the week of January 27, 2020.  Funding is anticipated to start no later than July 1, 2020.
