SC2C Administrative Manager:

Literacy Coach Coordinator (Summer) Grades K-3:
The Stamford Summer Literacy Initiative aims to reduce summer learning slide and helps rising K-3 students maintain, or increase, their literacy abilities over the summer months. The Literacy Coach Coordinator: acts as the liaison and main point of contact between six Literacy Coaches, summer camps, the Ferguson Library, and Stamford Cradle to Career; provides coaching and support for the Literacy Coaches; and provides professional development and academic support for literacy in participating summer camp sites. Literacy Coach (Summer):
The Stamford Summer Literacy Initiative aims to reduce the summer learning slide and helps rising K-3 students maintain, or increase, their literacy abilities over the summer months. The Ferguson Library will hire six literacy coaches to work at various Stamford community center summer camp programs to provide consistent literacy instruction and work with camp staff to create literacy-rich environments. Sparkler Parent Liaisons: PDF
Reporting to the Project Associate, SC2C Sparkler Parent Liaisons should be parents who are familiar with the Sparkler mobile app. They will be responsible for providing leadership and support to assist other parents using the app and follow-up and engagement with program staff where parents are participating. The Parent Liaisons will help to streamline communication between the parents, programs, and SC2C. They will assist us with parent communications and monthly (virtual, at least initially) meetings with parents to onboard them to the Sparkler app, review data, discuss their children’s development, better understand how to utilize the app and provide an opportunity for ongoing feedback and support.
